In the aftermath of Friday's tornadoes in our community, our heart goes out to all of those impacted by this tragedy. Please join us in praying for everyone who has been affected! We also invite you to join us in serving impacted families through our partnership with Hand of Hope, which has teamed up with Omaha Rapid Response to aid in cleanup on Saturday morning.

Cleanup

If you want to serve with Omaha Rapid Response, please report Saturday Morning to Relevant Community Church at 21220 Elkhorn Dr, Elkhorn, NE 68022. Work will begin at 7:30AM.

Ask For:  Ken, Ronnie, Christian, or Dale

Please wear work boots (glass and nails are strewn about). 

What to bring:

  • Work Gloves

  • Magnets to scan the ground

  • Rakes, Brooms, Shovels

  • Trucks

  • Chainsaws

  • Demo Tools

The scope of work is wide, from cleaning up to putting tarps on homes.

Please note that this serve opportunity does not allow volunteers under the age of 12. Volunteers aged 12-18 must have adults with them.

Emergency Shelter

An emergency shelter is being set up at Common Ground Community Center, 1701 Veterans Dr, Elkhorn, NE 68022. 

They need: Toiletries, non-perishable foods, wipes, diapers, towels, washcloths, pillows, phone chargers, power straps, extension cords, etc.
